gateway park

Landcom developed the masterplan for the creation of Edmondson Park, a major land release area, 45km from the CBD, in the south west growth region of Sydney. It covers two adjoining suburbs of Edmondson Park in the north & Bardia in the south.

ecodesign was engaged by Urbangrowth NSW to provide concept design and detailed design development for a Gateway Park. The Gateway Park incorporates the public art installation “Camoflage” designed by Matthew Harding.

The Art installation was surrounded by mass planted earthen mounds, polished concrete benches & porphyry crazy paving. Urban elements were provided such as extensive lighting, signage, bike racks, bollards, rubbish bin & drinking fountain.
