landscape master planning

Site planning provides an overarching design vision for the whole development. Key considerations are driven by hydrological design, existing vegetation, proposed land use, historical context, existing site features & cost management.

A master plan allows for the organisation of landscape spaces into functional areas. Integration with all project consultants is essential to ensure an integrated coordinated approach.

ecodesign works with developers to provide site landscape guidelines, fencing & street tree master plans, public domain plans, entry statement design, playground design, public art integration and open space or pocket park design.

ecodesign has been involved with the development of the Illabunda Eco Village for a number of years utilising his horticultural and permaculture design skills to develop landscape plans incorporating endemic plantings as well as edible landscapes.

ecodesign has also provided arborist services and helped guide the development team through the involved process of planning an eco-sensitive housing development around the many mature trees on our site. He continues to play a key role in the ongoing management of our trees which are in close proximity to the infrastructure and housing development works.

ecodesign has a broad suite of skills and experience which enable his team to deliver a wide range of quality landscaping, horticultural and arborist services and I am very pleased to recommend Adrian and ecodesign.Jonathan Cook – Illabunda Eco Village
