The team at ecodesign helped us create our dream garden, delivering a design that truly exceeded our expectations in terms of materials, planting, and functionality.

Our driveway has been transformed into a versatile space that doubles as a large seating area, centred around a stunning feature concrete bench. From there, generous circular concrete steps lead up to a deck that houses our cedar hot tub — the perfect place to relax and soak while taking in the surrounding greenery.

We love the contrast and character created by the corten steel edging and detailing, balanced beautifully by recycled bricks laid in a timeless herringbone pattern. The garden continues to evolve and improve with time, as the planting matures and fills the space more richly each season.

The planting palette is equally special, with fragrant magnolias and gardenias, alongside unique selections like tractor seats, New Zealand lilies, and oyster plants — all coming together to create a lush and sensory experience.

We couldn’t be happier with the result and would highly recommend ecodesign to anyone looking to create a truly unique and functional outdoor space.

Adrian, I just wanted to say thankyou for dropping by yesterday it was a nice surprise for Mark and I! We are feeling a bit spoilt.

I know it was a lengthy process from design to build to completion, but we got there in the end. I know you didn’t spare expense when it came to resolving issues, and we value that.

We must also commend Andrew on the amazing builder that he is, not just in his excellent skills in the craft, but also his genuine care and passion for his work (amongst other things!). I’m sure he’s a much valued team member.

Adrian and his team provided great detail in our landscape documentation for the whole of our property. We received very thorough garden planning, lighting design and design for our swimming pool.

Adrian’s team was then contracted to deliver the construction and installation of all aspects for the pool, gardens, and landscapes. The level of quality and service provided was exceptional and on par with my architects and builders, ensuring our new home, pool and landscapes were integrated and flowed seamlessly from inside to out.

We continue to receive compliments on our pool and landscapes which is also a testament to Adrian’s maintenance team. We have found that the after-build service has been excellent and we have been happy to refer our friends to their service also.

Our backyard just didn’t work as it was. We had a few ideas, but Adrian and the team turned those ideas into a functional design, and then built it for us.

We loved it from the moment it was finished, and we still do 6 years later!

We engaged with Adrian and his team initially to design our pool, gardens, and entertaining areas around our new home.

They really listened through the design process, and they communicated with us to ensure they detailed what we wanted. They were able to show us exactly what we were going to get.

Later as we progressed from design to the construction of what had become a considerably large project, they managed the project seamlessly ensuring a high level of quality for our pool and landscapes.

In 2007 Adrian designed our front garden. We found him attentive to what our requirements were and we were very happy with his design which incorporated both flair and functionality.

The garden has thrived in the last few years and we remain very satisfied with the overall result. We have appreciated Adrian’s ongoing interest in our garden.

ecodesign has been involved with the development of the Illabunda Eco Village for a number of years

utilising his horticultural and permaculture design skills to develop landscape plans incorporating endemic plantings as well as edible landscapes.

ecodesign has also provided arborist services and helped guide the development team through the involved process of planning an eco-sensitive housing development around the many mature trees on our site. He continues to play a key role in the ongoing management of our trees which are in close proximity to the infrastructure and housing development works.

This level of detail then allowed the construction teams to deliver a very high quality of landscape, which included a green roof over our bin storage, a Koi Pond that is the equivalent to a swimming pool, extensive stoneworks, retaining and a spectacular garden.

Outstanding work on our landscape design recently completed.

We had a new modern design house planned and wanted a complimentary landscape including front, back and side gardens, pool and outdoor cabana. The team took in CAD topography levels from our survey, CAD designs of the yet to be built house, and modelled in 3D a number of landscape plans to suit the spaces in line with our brief. We refined the design quite quickly, and they incorporated the multitude of council rules and regs in the design work.

The team also coordinated all the submissions and certifications necessary via a mix of private certifiers, engineers, and council DA’s. The final result is just perfect. It’s been amazing watching the project come to life and the renders transform from a computer screen image into a superb landscaping reality. Much appreciated, and highly recommend this company.
