Initially engaged by Mirvac to provide tree consultancy for the development application we provided a detailed inventory and assessment of the site trees. With the proposed development drawings we provided an Arboricultural impact Assessment.

Located on Figtree Drive Homebush within the Olympic Park it was determined that a single Fig Tree would need to be transplanted within the site to an alternative location to allow the full use of the site.

We engaged specialist tree transplanting consultants to provide a tree transplanting management plan. Once the Tree had been transplanted we monitored the trees establishment for more than 3 years to ensure it was establishing in its new location.

This project was one of the diverse range of projects cited in the award of the prestigious 2019 AILDM Overall Award for Design Excellence – The Alan Correy Award.
