kookaburra terraces

This entry garden design won the 2011 Hills Building and Design Award for the Urban Landscape Category. The design required the landscaping of a previous steep slope into a terraced entry courtyard garden.

The garden has a strictly formal layout which is also complimented by a wall mounted water feature which terminates the view across the yard and with garden lighting becomes a striking focal point.

The front boundary is defined by an elegant front fence which comprises of sandstone piers and Magnolia Little Gem hedge. The driveway was also regraded and laid with Black Granite setts which provide a stunning contrast to the sandstone.

This Garden won the 2011 Hills Building and Design Award for Urban Landscape.
