The key element of this design is the extensive deck which is accessed via four bi-fold doors. Featuring a large rectangular pond that sits flush with the deck and coping. The pebble-filled pond has three bubbling water jets and has a backdrop of tropical planting.
The outdoor room has been designed as a sitting room which includes an outdoor fireplace for winter and a ceiling fan for hot summer days. The timber clad ceiling, complements the timber decking and the slatted screens which sit either side of the fireplace.
The design also includes an open pergola with laser-cut powder coated privacy screen panels, between the pergola posts. The stylised bamboo pattern is echoed by the bamboo-like tiger grass which frames thee pergola and also provides privacy. In front of the panels sit two trough-style designer planters in which the architectural leaves of Sanserveria sp. are planted.
